Bethel Methodist Church Christmas Tree Festival 15-17 December 2017

Category : Events

We are delighted to again be involved in the Christmas Tree Festival at Bethel Methodist Church in Mansfield.  Not only will we again be decorating a tree with names of babies who have spent time on the Neonatal Unit, but this year, we are humbled to announce that we have been chosen as the Charity that the whole Festival will be supporting!

If you would like to support the Festival and maybe hang a decoration on our tree, you would be very welcome to visit.  The Festival will be open to the public at the following times:

Friday 15th December 7pm-9pm

Saturday 16th December 10am-3pm

Sunday 17th December 10am-3pm

Bethel Methodist Church is situated on Nottingham Road in Mansfield, opposite Sainsbury’s!

Apologies to those who are still waiting for a photo of my running vest with your children’s names on. It hasn’t been delivered yet (the other one I ordered at the same time arrived at the beginning of this week.) I have spoken to them today and they are express delivering it tomorrow to where I am staying in London. If there are more problems, I’ll post a list for you all tomorrow. I’ll write the children’s names on my arms for the marathon if I have to 😀

We have another bucket collection arranged at Tesco - this time at the Chesterfield Road South store. It is on Saturday 5th May. If anyone is available to help for an hour or so, please get in touch and let us know your preferred time either by commenting, messaging through Facebook or e-mailing us at admin@emilyharrisfoundation.org! Many thanks!

The Chad’s coverage of our runners heading to the London Marathon at the weekend!

Just a week to go until the London Marathon! If you are interested in tracking the progress of either of our runners, then you can now download the London Marathon app and save them as your favourites! Neil’s bib number is 53780 and Jason’s is 2656. If you cheer loudly enough, they may just hear you!! There’s also still plenty of time to sponsor either (or both!) of them. Simply visit www.virginmoneygiving.com and search for Neil Harris or Jason Hastings!

2 of Emily’s sisters putting their blue tokens in the Emily Harris Foundation box in Tesco! Don’t forget when shopping in any of the local Tescos to get a token and add to our total!
