Neonatal Walk 2014

Category : Events

Craig Stinson has organised a 130 mile walk around the 7 neonatal units in the East Midlands region.

The event is to take place from 14-17 November, to raise awareness of World Prematurity Day on 17th November. He will be providing each unit with goods they have requested. Four of our supporters will be joining Craig on the first leg of his journey, walking from Kings Mill to Nottingham City Hospital, and will be raising money for us in the process!

Had a great morning shopping for replacement bedding, crockery, cutlery and glasses for the flats in the neonatal unit!

Preparing to eat and talk about the Emily Harris Foundation to the Warsop Inner Wheel! 🙂

Disappointed to have to cancel Cake & Chat today. A nasty stomach bug swept through our family at the beginning of the week. All feeling much better now but need to leave it 72 hours before coming back onto the unit. Parents and their babies are far too precious to risk bringing any dodgy germs in! We’ll be back next week!

Good to see King’s Mill getting some positive press!

As part of his London Marathon experience, Emily’s dad has gone to London for the day to “Meet the Experts”! Managed to get his photograph with sports presenter Vassos Alexander!! Hope he got some good running tips too!!
