Don’t forget to keep putting those blue tokens in when you visit any of the Tesco stores we feature in! It’s looking good for us in the Oak Tree Tesco where Emily’s youngest sister gave us a boost today! ... See MoreSee Less

After an England defeat in the final on Sunday night, you may wish to forget the Euros, but we know this is the result you've all been waiting for!!! Our predictor competition is over and it's congratulations to Emma Wright who is victorious with 33 points! Well done Emma - we will be in touch with your prize! Only 3 people correctly predicted an England/Spain final and they all went for an England win! Only 2 people correctly predicted Spain to win (but to beat different opposition in the final!). With the Golden Boot being shared across 6 countries, there were plenty of points to be had there! Thank you to everyone who took part and to those who donated more than their entry fee - we raised over £140! ... See MoreSee Less

As part of the refurbishment of the Playroom on the Neonatal Unit, we purchased a lot of toys for siblings to enjoy. Unfortunately, a number of those toys have now been removed as they do not comply with health & safety or infection control regulations. Many of them are new and unopened but we are unable to return them due to being outside the return window. As such, we are offering them for sale in order to recoup some of the cost. Prices are in the comments on the individual photos. Collection or local delivery can be arranged. Postage costs will be added if required. Please comment or message for more information or to make a purchase! Thank you. ... See MoreSee Less

So proud to have supported the unit on this journey. Congratulations to all involved! 👏❤️Colleagues working in the Neonatal Unit at King’s Mill Hospital are celebrating after they were awarded the prestigious Baby Friendly Award by the UNICEF UK Baby Friendly Initiative. The celebration was attended by all members of the unit, including medical staff, nurses, support workers, housekeepers and managers, showcasing that it was a team approach. They were joined by families who had recently had a positive experience on the unit. The award comes after the unit, which is ran by Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, achieved their stage three Baby Friendly Accreditation just two years after starting their baby friendly journey. The team have worked extremely hard to achieve all three stages of the accreditation process in a short period of time after initially receiving their certificate of commitment in April 2022.Alex Taylor, 29, from Kirkby stayed on the unit for 15 days after her daughter Harriet was born by caesarean at just 32 weeks. Harriet really struggled with her lungs, requiring two chest drains and developing sepsis during her stay. She is now a thriving 5-month-old and Alex had the following to say about the unit:“NICU were phenomenal, and I can’t fault them. They are all so lovely and caring – just having someone available to offer me support was the most important thing.”You can find out more about the award here: bit.ly/45PYQgW ... See MoreSee Less

    Good morning clare
    Just a query?
We have found a perfect location for our parents group that is accessible for all parents at mansfield library. Jo has enquired and they are asking for £30 for 2 hours once a month?? To keep it free for parents , Is this something u can help with?? Thank you xx
We are aware of the free room at the Rufford but weighed the pro/con and unfortunately we feel its not suitable for parents that have transport or money issues xx
