Staff well-being is an important part of what we do to support the Unit - happy and rested staff means even better care for the babies and families. We recently bought this chair for the staff room to help staff relax on their break!

Baby Basics Newark is launching on 24th October. Baby Basics support new mums who are struggling by providing a Moses basket full of things needed by mum and baby. Find them on Facebook or the Baby Basics website to see how they help. We are happy to pass donations their way if you have anything they can use.

The past couple of weeks have seen the introduction of two new initiatives we are funding around staff well-being. Firstly, a monthly breakfast where staff can come together over a bite to eat and get to know each other. Then, for night staff, a pizza evening where they can enjoy a treat whilst looking after the babies over night. We look forward to the same again next month!

Jodi Green(Sunday, Feb 5. 2023 12:23 PM)Good morning clare
Just a query?
We have found a perfect location for our parents group that is accessible for all parents at mansfield library. Jo has enquired and they are asking for £30 for 2 hours once a month?? To keep it free for parents , Is this something u can help with?? Thank you xx
We are aware of the free room at the Rufford but weighed the pro/con and unfortunately we feel its not suitable for parents that have transport or money issues xx -
