WHAT IS HAPPENING
We are now on eBay!
It is always great to hear from people who are raising money for us! In June next year, Andy Blakey is going to be taking on the challenge of riding his mountain bike through 560 miles of the Scottish Highlands in 8 days! If you would like to follow his progress through training, please ‘like’ his Facebook blog!
We are now registered as a charity on eBay. There are a number of ways you can support us through this site! If you are selling on eBay, you can opt to give a percentage of your income to us, you can donate directly or you can browse the products we are selling - currently women's clothes in excellent condition but we will be adding more products over time, so keep browsing and buying!
Next year is our 10th Anniversary and we are planning a big celebration on Saturday 7th September (save the date!). We are looking for a suitable venue for a family fun day - ideally it will have a large outdoor space, large indoor space (for contingency if it’s raining!), toilet facilities, parking and is easily accessible! We may have to compromise on some of this, so at this stage, any suggestions would be welcome! Thank you!
Our contribution to the global Wave of Light. (In a candle holder made by one of Emily’s sisters!) Remembering Emily and all those babies lost in pregnancy and infancy. Please share your lights and join us in remembering.
Tomorrow (Sunday 15th October) is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. People are invited to take part in the global “Wave of Light”. Simply light a tea light at 7pm and if left burning for one hour, there will be a continuous wave of light across the world.
